There’s so much foolish “Lose 5 lbs. in 5 days!” noise
out there that when it comes to safe, sure weight loss, you probably
don’t know who to trust.
What’s more, if you’ve tried and failed in the past,
you may have sabotaged yourself just by being too ambitious, setting
tough goals you can’t meet and then telling yourself you’re
a failure.
It’s easier than you think.
Significant and permanent weight loss happens
in small, steady steps. Slowly. Carefully. Learning as you go – and
forgiving yourself for sometimes reverting to unhealthy old habits
while you learn
healthy new ones.
You don’t have to exercise
every day (twice a week works!), and you really don’t have to
do too much. It’s far more important to be consistent.
5 lbs. in 5 days? No way. But dropping a couple
