Self-Defense
You may only need self-defense skills once
in your life – but
if training saves your life just once, isn’t it worth your
time to train?
Your first weapon is confidence. If it’s clear you’re
not an easy victim, trouble may pass you by.
But if you find yourself in a conflict, your
first priority is protecting your life. If you’re on a street where there are other people,
scream and run toward them. If you’re alone, give the creep
what he wants without hesitation: purse, cell phone, credit cards;
nothing is as important as you are.
Even more
important: don’t let these 2-minute tips make
you feel safe. You’ve got to be able to react appropriately
to aggression and violence, for yourself and your family. Get
real self-defense training – if not from Fitlanta, from
any qualified professional.
PS: Do you
have friends, or perhaps a group at your church, neighborhood
or school, who would be interested in self-defense training?
Learning together is a great way to grow closer.
