Professional bodybuilder Neven
Corak won the 2006 World Cup.
He placed 4th, 2nd and 5th at The Mr. Universe Competitions in 2006, 2005 and
2004, respectively, and has been winning bodybuilding events ever since he broke
into the sport in 1991 with a 2nd place win in the European Championships.
At the same time, Neven served as head trainer, manager, director and owner of
several sports, fitness and recreation centers in Croatia. In this capacity,
he trained individuals and teams, several of whom won Olympic, World and European
medals under his direction.
In addition to his careers as bodybuilder and coach, Neven also became a featured
magazine columnist in Croatia, writing on weight control, aerobic and resistance
training, nutritional programs and diets, training at home and at work, and fitness
centers and training equipment.
He has published 8 books on bodybuilding, fitness and nutrition, and hosted radio
broadcasts, TV shows, and two TV series (Body Fitness and Beautiful Body
by Neven Corak).
A native of Croatia, Neven has earned MS and BS degrees in Kinesiology from the
University of Zagreb, Croatia, following an Associate Degree as a Certified Bodybuilding
Trainer. In addition, he trained as a Medical Nutritionist from Open University
in Zagreb.
